Modern Calligraphy Workshop - Frequently Asked Questions

I hope you are getting as excited as I am about my upcoming Beginners Modern Calligraphy Workshop!

A few important bits of information that I wanted to share with you leading up to the workshop…

Date & Time

Please make a careful note of the date and start time of your workshop, do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before the workshops is due to start to allow set up.

Location

Make sure you have checked out parking facilities to the venue, if you are not sure where your venue is, please email me and I can send you a map.

What to Wear

Please make sure you wear your most comfortable and relaxing clothing and not your best togs as I will be using black ink that won’t wash out.

What to Bring

You don’t need to bring anything. You will receive your calligraphy pack upon arrival and I will supply you with refreshments during the workshop. If you have any dietary requirements, please let me know in advance so I can prepare something for you.

Photography

Please feel free to take pictures of your work on the day, if you are sharing on social media I would love if you could tag me also, my Instagram handle is @wildseacalligraphy. If you would not like me to photograph you and share please let us know.

Left-handers

Let me know if you are left-handed so I can sort out seating arrangements for you.    

Supply shop

I will be bringing along a calligraphy supply shop where you can buy a small selection of lovely inks, practice pads and paper stock to make your own creations, I can take card payments during the end of the session.

Gifting

If you have bought this workshop as a gift for a loved one, please can you email me their name so I can amend our guest list.
