I’m Lyndsey a professional calligrapher, modern calligraphy tutor and author of The Calligraphy Ideas Book.
I am in love with all things to do with calligraphy, so much so that I absolutely love teaching calligraphy workshops as well as working on some lovely unique projects. I look forward to sharing my journey with you all.
I’m completely in love with all things calligraphy, so much so that I’ve been teaching workshops since 2017 across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wales and London, as well as with international students online. I absolutely love sharing this beautiful art form through my workshops and creative projects, and I look forward to continuing the journey with you all.
My workshops are fun, relaxing, nourishing, and rewarding - a chance to gift yourself a couple of carefree hours in an inspiring location while mastering a versatile new skill. Sound good? By the end of our session, you’ll be able to re-create a favourite quote, short reading, or your own chosen words beautifully and with great confidence. You’ll also have probably eaten something seriously yummy and chuckled at least once - you have been warned!
Bespoke classes are a lovely way of bringing friends, family, or colleagues together to do something a little bit different. A ratio of 10–15 people per class is preferred, and I can travel to your chosen venue around the UK and internationally.
My bespoke private calligraphy workshops work really well for:

Mummy’s to be and Baby Showers – creating baby milestone cards, keepsakes or a mini-poster for the nursery.

Wellbeing – Calligraphy writing really is incredibly therapeutic and can pair well with aromatherapy practise or yoga.
