A Day at Fortnum & Mason for World Calligraphy Day

This summer, I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day at the iconic Fortnum & Mason in London to celebrate World Calligraphy Day 2024 with the wonderful team from Manuscript Pen Company.

Set against the backdrop of Fortnum’s elegant stationery department, I spent the day creating personalised calligraphy pieces for visitors - beautifully handwritten notes, names, and special messages on the most exquisite paper. It was such a joy to watch people’s faces light up as they saw their words transformed into something truly personal and timeless.

There’s something so special about events like this, seeing the magic of calligraphy connect with people in real time, right in the heart of such an iconic store. From heartfelt dedications to playful little notes, every piece I wrote that day felt like a small work of art, each with its own story.

I’m so grateful to Manuscript Pen Company for inviting me to be part of this celebration of all things handwriting and creativity. It was a beautiful reminder of why I fell in love with calligraphy in the first place. The calm focus it brings, and the joy of creating something meaningful by hand.

A huge thank you to everyone who came by to say hello, watched me work, or took home a handwritten piece, it truly made the day unforgettable - I hope you all enjoyed Taylor Swift!

Until next time, London 💌
