How does it work?
Once you make your purchase I will email you to arrange a date and time for your workshop with me.
I will send you your full beginners kit which includes, pen holder, nib, ink, paper and workbook.
The session will be filmed live with one camera looking down onto the paper (so you will be able to see how each stroke is created) and also with one camera facing me so you can ask as many questions your heart desires about the calligraphy we are creating. I will also be able to help you with your pen positioning and control and critique your work during the workshop.
For beginners, spend a couple of hours with me learning how to create basic shapes with your calligraphy pen whilst working towards mastering the modern calligraphy alphabet and basic phrases.
By the end of the workshop you will have gained the confidence to be able to create your own quotes and favourite words to take home and impress your friends.
Location: The comfort of your own home (bring tea and cake!)
Dear Lyndsey
Just wanted to say thank you once again for my calligraphy session yesterday. I found it very interesting and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Your obvious love of the skill and ability to transfer that enthusiasm to a beginner was perfect and made two hours fly by. I shall continue using and developing the learning I acquired.

HELPFUL TECHNICAL INFORMATION
I use Zoom for all of my online workshops, you can download this onto your computer, laptop, iPad or iPhone.
A laptop is a great choice as you can move the screen up and down so I can see your work easily.
Ideally have two devices, one where you can watch me and one such as an iPhone pointed at your work so I can see your progress.
Mic and video settings. Make sure you have allowed “access for all” on your settings so that there are no technical issues at the start of our session.
